Welcome to LottaMercy - dotcom and my new creative persona. If we’re close, I’ll share where the name ‘really’ comes from, but for the above board origin story, let’s go with the fact that I have a lot of creative passions and experiences, and fully embrace all of them.

For the past 3 years, I’ve answered many invitations from life to intentionally explore creative expressions from the page and stage, and loved it. Loved it so much I pivoted professionally into arts work and found kin and community with artists of all genres, those living art daily and those who let art live through their other ways of being. One thing that this pivot has taught me - sitting on artistic expression is tough and uncomfortable. Like, trying to squat on a volcanic ant hill - you could try to sit, but it it won’t be for long. And honestly, I like what I write and create, think others will as well (that’s where you come in, reader!), and am excitedly curious about what grows when I let loose these creative seeds into the world.

So, LottaMercy is my dedicated public space to share what was a semiprivate (local sporadic performances, and in my own Notes apps, camera roll, journals and mind) creative practice. I expect it’ll be a bit rusty at first, learning how to translate the private to the public, but its worth it and about time.
